Most WRCGC members are involved in at least one beautification project. The teams plant and maintain gardens throughout Williamston. The objective is to enhance our city's appearance, create a feeling of pride in our community, and to encourage others to become members of the club.
National Garden Week takes place annually during the first full week of June. The event is spearheaded by National Garden Clubs, a nonprofit organization headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, that promotes a love of gardening, floral design, and civic and environmental responsibility. The Williamston Red Cedar Garden Club is proud to be part of this national organization and to support its mission.
