In the fall of 2021 our club planted 1,500 daffodil bulbs to create a beautiful display in McCormick Park for everyone to enjoy.
Our newest project at Red Cedar Bend Landing park has thousands of Daffodils blooming profusely on sunny slopes.
Each December members create 100 greenery arrangements in holiday cups. The arrangements are delivered to seniors living in care facilities and to others in need of cheer.
Recently, we have agreed to provide plantings around the Police Department on a trial basis. The project is a challenge because the beds are very shallow and lack drainage. We are experimenting with shallow-root plants that survive and thrive in tough conditions.
National Night Out is the first Tuesday in August each year. It enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. We participated with a craft for kids and information about the club.
